The Glass Cube
The Glass Cube is characterised by a striking architecture, where the central atrium creates visual connections across the floors. This creates a strong sense of openness and cohesion.
Most work areas are framed by glass rather than traditional walls, supporting transparency, community and knowledge sharing throughout the building.
The open layout also places high demands on solutions that ensure calm, focus and the option of individual screening. Here, apto plus has contributed design solutions that create a balance between the open working environment and employees’ need for concentration.
The flexible workstation
Jyske Bank has had a particular focus on clean desk principles and flexibility. Through close dialogue about users’ needs and an extensive development process, a spacious and easily accessible cable tray was created with integrated 24 mm felt screening. The solution is complemented by a dual monitor arm with gas spring, making it easy and intuitive for each user to adjust the screens’ height and position.

Hover Table
For three decades, apto plus has supplied team tables to Jyske Bank, and for the Glass Cube a new need arose: a flexible “fly-in table” that supports a more dynamic way of working.
Together, we therefore developed Hover Table. A team table that brings three individual workstations together around a shared centre. Each station has its own lifting column and can be height-adjusted individually. Integrated cable management and a space-optimised construction create a clean, functional expression.
The light, floating expression is emphasised by a leg-free construction, and despite the minimalist design, the workstation feels both spacious and functional.

Personal storage
A personal felt Toolbox has been developed for each employee, with space for a keyboard, mouse and personal belongings. The solution supports Jyske Bank’s clean desk principle and makes it easy to organise the working day, while also giving employees fixed storage options for the items they do not want to carry back and forth every day.
Each Toolbox is placed in specially designed shelving systems that are naturally integrated into the interior, thereby contributing to the overall architectural expression.
Zones in the open space
The Extend shelving system has played a central role in the interior design of the Glass Cube. The system is used in a light version with large felt panels and integrated planters. Its function is primarily to create screening without compromising the building’s open and transparent expression.
Extend is used both in the shared areas and in the office environments, where the solution helps create natural zones and smaller work islands.
Extend is apto plus’ flexible shelving system, which can be adapted in countless configurations. In the Glass Cube, the system functions as a room divider, but it can be continuously expanded with additional modules and storage compartments as needed. The system can also be built in multiple dimensions and custom-adapted for, among other things, wardrobes, bookcases, wine racks and other tailored storage solutions.
About the collaboration
For apto plus, it has been a great pleasure to contribute to the project. The collaboration with Jyske Bank dates back to 1997, when PJ Production – today apto plus – was established in connection with the delivery of adviser desks to the bank.
“We are incredibly pleased with the long and strong partnership. In connection with the Glass Cube project, apto plus has once again shown fantastic commitment and tremendous enthusiasm for the project. The specially developed solutions perfectly support our vision of a flexible and dynamic workplace, where employee wellbeing is paramount.”
