Welcome to your new home zone
Danske Commodities’ employees are divided into teams and spread across several floors. Each team has different needs for storage, collaboration space and screen solutions. It was important to Danske Commodities that each team could put their own stamp on their area, while keeping the offices stylish. That’s why they created Apto Home Zone – a concept that establishes zones in the building that reflect each team’s identity.
The system reduces the need for customized installations, creates a common thread on each floor and makes it easy to meet teams’ changing needs over time.

The collaboration
The collaboration started back in 2024, while the building was still under construction. Together with the team from Danske Commodities, Christian from AART was responsible for the design and identification of the company’s needs and wishes for the new office areas. In the meeting with Christian, we found a common foundation, where the Extend Shelving system became the base.
It was not just a plug-and-play solution, but an exciting dialog where Danske Commodities and AART set the framework and requirements for the shelving system. It turned into an engaging process of fulfilling their wishes regarding functionality and creating a new storage concept as well as a completely new way in which the system can be modularly adjusted and moved by loosening just a few screws.
Red thread on all three floors
At the same time, when we met the team from Danske Commodities, we could clearly see how their focus has been on the employees and their well-being.
